Have Bow, Will Go

The regularly scheduled June meeting was held on the 5th. All Officers and Board members were present except Adam Lewis and Al Tharp. Also attending were several club members and guests.

The Carp Shwacking Jamboree was a little short on shooters this year. However, those that attended had a great time!! Congratulations to Jerry Marshall who shot the minnow of the bunch and Rick Bollen who shot the monster carp. Special thanks goes to Dick Edgar for making the beautiful awards for this event!!

Jakes day was a hit with the kids. Thanks to all of you who helped make the day one to remember for those kids attending.

The Brats and Beans appreciation dinner was some great eats. Thank you Butch Rupert for all the hard work

Bow Hunter Weekend August 5th & 6th. The new targets are in and the buckles are on the way. Don’t forget to mark your calendars.

If you would like to donate a target (or know of a business that you would) to the Bow Hunter Weekend, there are donor sheets at the club.

Local archers are hosting a 3-D Pop-up shoot on June 16th and 17th at the Archer Research Station. For more information contact Rick Holmes. A flyer will be posted at the club.

Don’t forget about leagues. Thursday and Sunday night leagues will be stopping until after hunting season. Tuesday night will continue to run, so come and enjoy the fun.

Work party: June 7th - set sidewalk forms, June 14th - pour the concrete.
